It was an amazing Wisconsin trout opener. A little on the warm side if you ask me. Overall I heard fishing was slowish for most folks. I caught some fish on a larger hare’s ear. My guide Aaron was doing well with red zebra midges. As the sun lowered they started taking small streamer patterns. On Sunday Aaron hit the lower kinni and fished streamers as it was a cloudy warmish day. He said the streamer bite was ON on the lower kinni that day. Small black buggers. Too cold to be out there today! Weekend temps look great again to get out there and do some fishing. If you follow us on instagram (mnflyhop) or facebook we will be posting videos of most all of our fishing outings this season. Get out there and fish!
