BAM!!! And just like that it is fall. The Kinnickinnic river came up just a little bit so far with the rains but not enough to be unfishable. We will have to keep our eyes on the gauge for the next few hours to see if it is going to come up anymore. The hopper bite will slow down a bit but nymphing should work well and we should also start seeing some Blue Winged Olives soon!! There is less than a month left in the trout season so get out there and fish! Don’t forget that you can fish in the SE MN State Parks year round.
